Oliver has over 10 years of PE-VC-Mezz investment experience. Prior to GCP he contributed to the development of the PE-VC activities of Austrian development bank AWS (then FGG) between 1995-1998 (together with Burkhard Feurstein), afterwards building up of Bank Austria TFV (Tech-VC of Bank Austria, now 3i). Thereafter he launched as investment director INVEST MEZZANINE, the mezzanine-capital investor of Investkredit Group, pioneering DACH-mezzanine funds.

Oliver was member of the AVCO Executive Committee between 2002-2006. Since 1998 he has been lecturing on venture capital, private equity and investment finance at several universities (Uni Vienna/BWZ, Uni Graz, Uni St.Gallen (CH), FH Dornbirn, Donau Uni Krems (A)). Oliver (co-)authored two books and several articles on the topics of Venture Capital, Private Equity and Mezzanine Capital.
