Launched as an Internet incubator in 2000, gcp gamma capital partners (GCP) took over management of iLab24 and relaunched it as a balanced technology VC fund in 2002. Since 2003, GCP is investing iLab24 in parallel to gamma II, focusing on technology-driven growth firms in German speaking Europe and the CEE countries bordering Austria.
Since then, GCP has built an attractive portfolio of dynamic growth companies, several of which with outstanding return prospects. The Fund is now in the divestment phase, i.e. remaining resources are reserved for the existing portfolio.
Under GCP management, iLab24 ranks among the top European Funds in its vintage today. GCP expects above-average returns for iLab24 in the long run.
