Launched in 2003, GCP is investing gamma II in parallel to iLab24, focusing on technology-driven growth firms in German speaking Europe and the CEE countries bordering Austria.
Since then, GCP has built an attractive portfolio of dynamic growth companies, several of which with outstanding return prospects. The Fund is now in the divestment phase, i.e. remaining resources are reserved for the existing portfolio.
Already, half of the Funds capital drawn down has been returned to investors and gamma II ranks among the top European Funds in its vintage (2nd best EU Venture Fund according to PEI, www.prequin.com). GCP expects above-average returns for gamma II in the long run.
